The Samsung Galaxy S3 (or Galaxy S III) will be available on US carriers Sprint and T-Mobile from June 21st, 2012 it has been announced. Samsung’s latest Smartphone the android Samsung Galaxy S3 is probably on way to becoming the top phone to hit the 2012 market. Samsung announced the sale of the Galaxy S3 in 28 other countries, including Canada starting from June 20th. And sales index have pitched for the latest of the Samsung Galaxy series.
I think the whole rush is justified. The specs that Samsung assured in the S3 are probably a huge jump from the earlier flagship models of the brand – for instance the Galaxy and Wave series. The quantum leap is easy to notice –the Samsung S3 has a 4.8-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display; the set is powered by Snapdragon S4 Dual Core 1.5 GHz instead of Exynos 4 Quad. The model has two versions, namely the SGH-i747 with LTE support and SGH-iT999 with HSPA+ 42 support.
There are also features shared by the variants such as 8MP Rear-facing camera and 1.9MP Front-facing camera; an internal memory of 16/32GB in the SGH-i747 LTE variant and 16GB internal memory in the SGH-iT999.
On T-Mobile the Galaxy S III would support 4G (HSPA+ 42 technology) and would be available in metallic blue or ceramic white color at T-Mobile retail stores and select retailers, and online vendors from June 21.
On Sprint the Samsung S3 will come with 4G LTE and Google Wallet support, and available in Pebble Blue and Marble White colors.
The 16GB version would be available for $199.99 and 32GB version for $249.99 (excluding taxes) with a new line or eligible upgrade and 2-year service agreement at Sprint Stores, Sprint Business Sales, Telesales (1-800-SPRINT1) and Web Sales beginning on June 21.
